From Pageants to Powerbombs: Why I’m Stepping Into the Ring (Well, Sort Of)

If you’ve spent any time following me online, you already know I wear many crowns—wife, advocate, stepmom, nonprofit president, cat mom, Mrs. New York American 2024, and professional listener. But there’s one passion I’ve kept mostly ringside… until now.

I’m a lifelong pro wrestling fan.

That’s right—while I may know my way around a pageant stage, I also know a thing or two about a steel cage match, the pop of a surprise return, and the exact moment a heel turn changes everything.

WWE has always been more than just entertainment for me. It’s a place where storytelling, athleticism, passion, and persona collide in the most electrifying way. The drama, the resilience, the rivalries—it’s theatrical, larger than life, and yet so deeply human. And let’s be honest, there’s nothing quite like yelling “WHAT?!” at your screen like a proud member of the WWE Universe.

So I’ve decided: it’s time to start sharing that side of myself more intentionally.
